Well we now have a new president.
Some people are thrilled, some are completely and utterly disgusted and others well are quite confused of the whole situation and can't believe that Trump actually beat Clinton....
Many people on campus here are very upset about the results and around the country people are protesting. Some citizens are seriously angry.
We can learn a couple of things from this election:
We see that the pollsters were seriously wrong in their calculations, because Trump did indeed win!
We can see that the country is obviously tired of having Democrats as the majority party in all the branches.
We learned that Hillary spent too much time and money down in North Carolina, because she didn't win the state....
And we finally learned, that it is going to be okay!
That's what I keep telling everyone.
At the end of the day there are so many checks and balances that the President has to go through to do anything.
And it's only four years and then we vote again.
Four years seems like a long time right now, but it's not.
The country spoke, and that is what the country wanted so that's what it is!
It is what it is!
We were and always have been the greatest country on Earth and we will continue to be that country regardless of who is our president.
We can give everyone a week or so to morn the loses or cheer at the gains, and then we have to move on.
It is our job now as citizens to come together as a nation and unite.

But it's okay because she's back up north and I'm down here, so it's not like she could borrow it!
