The Cherry Blossom trees are in full bloom and I am in a turtleneck...
These pictures are a little confusing... I know.
We had such nice weather last weekend that the trees bloomed and it is only February!
And because it is only February it was a bit chilly yesterday, so I bundled up in my turtleneck!
This is the first and probably last time I'm wearing this turtleneck this winter season, but that's okay, because I am a little self conscious of it.
I wrote a blog post last year all about "turtleneck confidence..." (linked HERE).
I know, silly name and probably a silly blog post, but I was just writing my feelings down and I have to say I still felt the same way yesterday.
Ashley, even commented on how self conscious I was of the turtleneck.
And I tried to explain, that I really didn't have a reason why I was self conscious of it, except that I felt like I was being strangled. And I also felt like a 90 year old grandma...
Like I think this turtleneck is really pretty and I love the color, but I was just so self conscious all day.
I felt like everyone was staring at my stupid neck, because the neck part was so big.
But it's fine, I'm over it and will try to only wear it when it is super super cold outside!
To go along with the grandma trend I was pulling yesterday,
I went to a ballroom dance class...
It was so fun and I loved it! My mom was so jealous! I did some ballroom dancing in high school in my theater productions, so I wasn't a total newbie last night but it was still hard, especially if you don't have a good partner... which I really didn't...
But it's fine! I'm gonna try to recruit some of my guy friends to do it, and tell them that all girls love a guy that can ballroom dance :)
