White pants, warm weather and fresh
blooms.
We started off spring a day early
with warm temperatures and fresh flowers. But that is not going to last very
long.
Tomorrow it is supposed to SNOW in
both North Carolina and New York for the 4th Nor’easter of the
season!
I am not looking forward to the snow, but I am looking forward to a possible snow day!!

Not that I don’t have enough free
time already!
For once this year, I actually have
some downtime.
One of my English professors is
currently in England right now giving some lectures and doing some research on
British poetry. We will not have class for the next two weeks, so I have some
free time on my hands.
To fill up that free time I decided
to participate in Derby Days, (click HERE to read all about Derby Days from
last year) Sigma Chi’s philanthropy week!
I am participating in the dance competition
again, like last year, and I am counting that as my “exercise” for the week.
It is a good amount of cardio!
I would be working out more
regularly except that our beautiful gym is not fully completed yet. The workout
classes are not scheduled in yet and the actual gym scares me!
But starting the first week in April, catch me at one workout class a day!!

Next week is a short week because of
Easter!
I am so excited for next Thursday because I am flying to Kentucky to stay with my twin brother for the weekend! My parents are also flying down to see us, and I think it is going to be a very nice weekend.

I’ve always wanted to go to
Kentucky and see what all the buzz is about over big SEC schools!
In honor of my first official Dijon
meeting last night, I sported my scarf that I bought in Paris four years ago
this week!
There are 15 students including
myself going to study abroad in Dijon next fall.
At our meeting, we met everyone,
even though I knew most of the students from my other years of French here at
Wake and got a feel for what the program is going to be like.
For the first four weeks we live in
a hotel with our professor and travel to different parts of France.
And then starting in September we
live with a host family!
We start university in October!
I will have eight free weekends to travel the rest of Europe and I have already started to plan out where I want to go!
