My mom and I decided to take an impromptu trip to Manorville, Long Island to visit Waterdrinker Farm today.
I only have one class on Mondays at 8:40 am, so after I got home from class, we drove out East to see the sunflowers!
I feel like if you didn’t go to a sunflower field this summer then you’re not a real influencer. Kidding. But really! Everyone and their mother (including mine) have been, so my mom and I really wanted to go, especially since our plans to go on my birthday got canceled due to the tropical storm.
I was a bit disappointed by this sunflower field. It was a bit anticlimactic. These sunflower stalks weren’t super tall, but we took some cute pictures! It would be a great spot for little kids because they had baby animals and jungle gym sets. But for $10 an adult, and $2 a stem it was a bit overpriced. But it’s okay, I’m all about supporting local farmers and businesses.
It was a nice afternoon get away from my everyday life of law school and homework.
