I am back on the blog for the first time in a while! I just finished my first semester of law school (I still have a paper to write) so I’ve been a bit busy studying for finals. Sorry that I took a bit of a backseat from writing, but if you miss me you can always find me on my Instagram stories. Many blog posts are currently in the works.
Thanksgiving was very different this year. As I know it was for everyone.
My twin brother tested positive for Covid and couldn’t come home for Thanksgiving from school. Fortunately, he’s okay.
Our plans for a medium sized get-together quickly turned into a tiny dinner party. My grandparents and aunt decided not to come. Then my older brother from Florida decided not to come. Dinner was just my boyfriend, my parents and I.
Definitely the quietest Thanksgiving I’ve ever had. But we still all got dressed up, used the fine china and silverware.
And ate a delicious meal thanks to chef Alice, aka my mom.
This year is just a bye year and then next year we will redo everything! It will be like the roaring 20s all over again! I cannot wait!
I wore this beautiful cream asymmetrical wrap sweater dress yesterday. It is currently on sale for 40% off. I sized up to a medium. I paired it with brown booties and gold jewelry. The jewelry was gifted from Herself Collections, a small boutique that creates beautiful high quality gold pieces. You can use my code: TANDP10 for 10% off.
