My mom and sister were the first to get laser hair removal and raved about it, so I followed suit.
I go to Bare NY in Queens. It is right on the border of Nassau and Queens and I couldn’t recommend it more. (All thoughts and opinions are my own. This is not a sponsored or paid post).
I see Tanya, who is so fun and spunky. We always have great conversations, and she is professional and makes me feel very comfortable considering I am usually in the nude.
Bare NY has Groupons for first time customers.
Honestly, the prices are amazing for what it is.
Currently: for three full-leg laser sessions it is $209.
It is not as expensive as most people think it would be and I truly think it is worth the money.
With that being said and because I am so hairy, it is more expensive for me than for others.
For example, my mom only did three laser hair removal sessions of full leg, whereas I am going on session 7.
Although I have had many sessions on my legs, there is still some hair in certain places, so that’s why I keep going back. But, every time I leave, the hair gets lighter and thinner.
Some tips about laser hair removal:
· Do it during the fall/winter months because you cannot be exposed to the sun.
· You have to shave the night before your hair removal session, but you cannot shave in between sessions.
· No lotion or deodorant on the parts you are getting lasered.
· The sessions are spaced out over a couple of months. The time between each session getting longer and longer as less and less hair grows back. So you have to be committed to removing it.
If you are thinking about getting laser hair removal, I personally think it is worth it, even if it is an investment. Razors are expensive and shaving is annoying and takes a lot of time. For me it makes sense because it saves me time and probably money, if we calculate it, because I am not buying expensive razors.
I hope this gave you some more insight into why I love laser hair removal. If you have any questions, feel free to ask away!
