1. Giano- My favorite Italian restaurant in the East Village. This restaurant feels like family. The reason we keep going back is really for the people. The owners and staff at Giano are so sweet and funny. I am having my birthday dinner here this week! The pasta is also delicious and very reasonably priced for New York City. Also, there is a great bottled wine and wine by the glass selection.
2. Jill Stuart tinted lip color in 07- “bite of grape”! This is a beautiful bright pink that lasts all day long! It’s a cream stain. It doesn’t dry your lips. It looks good after hours of wear.
3. Wardrobe rental service- I rented this fun princess gown to wear for my 24th birthday photos from Wardrobe. Wardrobe is like Rent the Runway, except you can rent from individual bloggers, creators, and regular folk’s closets. How cool is that?! I worked with them last year and really thought it was a great idea to help people make some extra money on things they don’t wear regularly and to free up some closet space, while also helping the environment. If you want to try Wardrobe out, you can use the link HERE for a $25 rental credit.
4. Margaux brown leather mules- These shoes were on my wish list for years, and I finally caved and bought them when they were on sale. They are no longer on sale, but definitely worth the price. I am so excited to wear them this fall!
5. The Fashion Foundation- A nonprofit that collects donations from fashion designer showrooms and warehouses and sells new designer clothes for a fraction of the price with all proceeds going to buying school supplies for children in underprivileged communities. I am collaborating with this organization on a gifted basis. I was sent two brand-new pairs of PJs from Ralph Lauren, a brand-new Brooks Brother’s suiting dress, headbands, hair accessories and a tweed skirt.
