1. Le District at Brookfield Place- If you love Eataly for all things Italian food, drinks and groceries, but you want the French version, head to Brookfield Place and over to Le District. There you will find a variety of counters of French goods including pastries, meats, diary products, and wine.
2. Fathead- This past weekend Alex ran the NYC half marathon, and me and a giant version of his face from when he was a baby was cheering him on in the freezing cold! I bought this fathead when he did the Brooklyn Half Marathon last spring. It is such a silly thing, but so fun. And honorable mention: my cowbell!
3. Lexis+ Rewards- Law students listen up! If you use Lexis+ for legal research, every day that you log on, you get POINTS that you can redeem for AMAZING things including gift cards to Sephora, Target, Starbucks or Apple products, home goods and travel accessories. Literally anything you can imagine. I have been using Lexis+ for the past 3 years and have racked up 20,000 points (after donating a handful of points to the Red Cross). I am trying to figure out what to spend my points on. I’m thinking gift cards!
4. Daily walks- I know this sounds silly, but walking is so good for your body and your mental health! Every morning over the summer before work I would walk about 40 minutes and it woke me up and cleared my head in preparation for the day. I am happy that the temperatures are warming up and that I can start taking daily walks again.
5. Peplums- Middle and high school Elizabeth is THRILLED peplums are back. They really are so flattering. The prettiest one I’ve seen is linked HERE. You’re welcome ;)
