If you are going during the day, be prepared to sweat, a lot. Even if it is raining and the roof on the stadium gets closed and AC is pumped in, it will still be hot, and there is no guarantee the roof will stay closed. To yesterday’s day session in Arthur Ash Stadium, where we got to see Jess Pegula vs. Madison Keys, Carlos Alcaraz vs. Matteo Arnaldi and then in Louis Armstrong Stadium where we watched Ons Jabeur vs. Qinwen Zheng I wore:
- a linen dress
- white leather sneakers (best sneakers EVER!)
- reusable water bottle
If you are going to the night session, it will get a little chilly, especially as the courts are right on the water. Last year, to the night session, where we got to watch Serena Williams play her last match ever, I wore:
-white jeans (my favorite white jeans!)
-short sleeve shirt
-white leather sneakers
Enjoy!
