1. Boris and Horton- This is the cutest dog friendly café ever! It’s right by Alex’s apartment. We’ve walked by it so many times over the years and have never gone in until a couple of weekends ago. There are adorable puppies running around and playing while their owners sit, eat and drink coffee. Instant mood booster!
2. Queer Eye Season 8- One of my favorite shows! The cast is adorable and they really help change people’s lives. So happy it is back for another season.
3. Commuter benefits- If you are a commuter in the tri-state like me, you should check to see if your office does commuter benefits. Every month, federally, I am allowed $315 of pre-taxed money from my paycheck to go straight into my commuting budget. It’s a huge money saver!
4. Boys in the Boat- I have been dying to see this movie. I finally saw it this past weekend and it was incredible. I love a heartwarming story about grit and determination. It’s a true story about the Washington University rowing team that defied all odds and ended up winning a gold medal for team USA.
5. Six the Musical- This hour and a half show is SO fun. It’s more of a concert than a traditional musical/play because the actresses break the 4th wall and interact with the audience. The six actresses who each play an ex-wife of King Henry VIII are so incredibly talented. They sing the most catchy songs. The costumes were great too!
