We had a quick 12 hours in San Francisco and here is what we did and saw:
Where we stayed:
- Holiday Inn Express Fisherman’s Wharf: Such a great location. Perfect walking distance from everything we wanted to see. Safe area as well. The breakfast is included and is also great!
What we saw (in this order, all walking distance from the hotel):
- Fisherman’s Wharf Sign
- Alcatraz from the Wharf
- Sea Lions on Pier 39
- Ghirdaelli Square
- Cable Cars
- Lombard Street
On our way out of town, we stopped for photos at:
- Painted Ladies
- Golden Gate Bridge (we tried to go to "Golden Gate Bridge Vista Point" on Apple Maps but it was too foggy to see anything...these photos are from Fort Baker)
